My life is like chocolate,
And I am always willing to take the next bite of sweetness or bitterness.
It may be pleasant white chocolate,
I certainly welcome that, but I will not be intoxicated by the sweetness.
It may be normal milk chocolate,
I certainly welcome that, but I will try to add more happiness.
It may be bitter dark chocolate,
I certainly welcome that, but I will try to figure out a way to enjoy the bitterness.

As my blue eyes reflected in the mirror
I saw sadness in the reflection
Then my heart sank in horror
But then I realized they were perfection
It was like the mirror played tricks on me
So I shattered the mirror with my scissor
Then I waited to see
If the mirror was still my oppressor

There I see
The lake of the wild
Hidden in the guards of trees
Giggling like a child
I wonder how deep
You are, in feet or even miles
Perhaps there a monster sleeps
Beneath the surface seems mild.

Ted Williams with a bat in his hand
Fire in his eyes
The at bat in his command
With his fiery eyes on the prize
And his swing a smooth as ever
The pitch comes in
He would never miss this pitch, no not never
He hits it so hard it is almost like a sin
The game is over
And the light is bright
Yet moreover
It is a good way to end the night

The overjoyed mother sees her first touch with her newborn child
The preacher sees god reaching out to man and his dame
The graduate sees his headmaster handing him his diploma and smiled
The father sees himself congratulating his son for winning the championship game
The lovers see the first time they held hands
The friends see themselves meeting each other for the first time
The grieving mother sees her last touch as her soldier leaves for foreign lands

some where in the brain
boxes of recollection
there stored people’s oldest pain
that they refuse to mention
the images that brings out emotion
people try to be motionless
but images evokes the motion
the motion of anger and sadness
stay quiet like placid ocean
people tries to get rid of them
it just gets worse and worse like a dead fish
and comes back and bite you like a dog off the leash

Ripples of blue turn to pink
Linger as the world falls asleep
The clouds gently begin to sink
As the nighttime starts to creep
The black of night like an explosion of ink
The world gone until the morning beep

The thinker stares
And ponders all
His thoughts a maze
With endless walls
His face half light
The other dark
He wonders tonight
How he’ll leave his mark.

Shadows don’t touch the tips of bayonets from the ground,
Forming mysterious shapes, hidden, waiting for discovery,
Light, coming over, casting darkness, not to be found,
Twisting and sway without control, not finding recovery.
Standing up with no demeanor to fall over,
Reaching for the sky from hell to heaven,
Showing no signs of being special, not a want, not a clover,
Filing in rows, not even reaching eleven.

As the sun rises in the East
Erasing the star-studded night
It reveals an elegant beast
The rolling hills of white
Not a soul stirs at this early hour
All are still asleep
Not a leaf on a tree, on the ground not a flower
All are covered by snow, so deep
